Our Team
David Taylor Founder / Managing Director
David Taylor created PartsCheck when he coupled his passion for innovative IT solutions with his lifetime of experience in the smash repair industry. David a qualified vehicle refinisher, purchased his first smash repair outlet in 1998 and currently owns three facilities in Brisbane and Ipswich.
As David opened additional outlets, he worked closely with industry IT providers, assisting in the development of systems and programs to improve a workshop’s productivity and profit. As David reaped the benefits from these IT solutions, he identified other areas within the business needing innovative solutions, such as parts purchasing.
Although initially David’s focus was upon improving the profitability, whilst reducing administration within his own company, it soon became evident that PartsCheck could greatly assist, and even revolutionise the parts estimating and ordering process between ALL Repairers and Suppliers. This revelation resulted in the PartsCheck concept inception and development in conjunction with a team of entrepreneurial IT, automotive parts and customer service specialists.
